3 Ingredient Creme Brûlée

I just tried this recipe today, and it was SO good and SO simple! If you have a craving for something sweet, but want something a little special, this recipe is definitely for you!! I got this recipe from @buzzfeedtasty on Instagram, they have a lot more recipes that I will definitely be trying out!

INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)

  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp of sugar

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 325°F
  • Put ice cream in microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30-40 seconds or until fully melted
  • Cool for 5 minutes
  • Add egg yolk into melted ice cream and whisk well
  • Pour mixture into ramekins, and place in a pan
  • Pour hot water into the pan to come about halfway up the sides of the ramekin
  • Bake 40-50 minutes, it should be set but still a little jiggly in the center
  • Remove ramekins from the pan and allow to cool to room temperature
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, and up to 3 days
  • Remove from the refrigerator and sprinkle sugar evenly on top
  • Use a butane torch to melt the sugar for a crispy top, or you can broil the creme brûlée if you don’t have one (just make sure not to over cook it)
